One-on-One Flight Instruction, Tailored to You.
Safety is the cornerstone of everything we do. Whether you’re a new student pilot or an experienced aviator using our services, you can trust that we prioritize your safety above all else.
We adhere strictly to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and industry best practices to maintain a safe flying environment.
To ensure effective and safe instruction, all students must:
Hold a valid FAA Medical Certificate or meet BasicMed requirements before solo flight operations.
Complete required ground school and pre-flight briefings prior to each flight.
Follow the FAA-approved training syllabus tailored to your certification goals (Private, Instrument, Commercial, etc.).
Comply with FAA regulations and instructor guidance at all times.
Disclose any medical conditions or limitations that may affect your fitness to fly.
Our aircraft are maintained according to FAA regulations and manufacturer recommendations, including:
Regular scheduled maintenance and inspections conducted by certified mechanics.
Pre-flight inspections by the instructor or pilot in command before every flight to ensure the aircraft is safe and airworthy.
Immediate grounding and reporting of any mechanical issues until repairs are completed.
Flight lessons and services are scheduled with safety as the priority.
Flights may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather conditions, mechanical issues, or other safety concerns.
We closely monitor weather reports and only conduct flights when conditions meet FAA VFR or IFR requirements appropriate for the flight.
Your safety is a shared responsibility. We ask all students and clients to:
Arrive well-rested, alert, and medically fit for flight.
Follow all instructions from your flight instructor or pilot in command.
Report any concerns or unusual sensations immediately.
Participate actively in pre- and post-flight briefings.
We understand that flexibility is important. Flight lessons and pilot services can be canceled or rescheduled subject to the terms below.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur no fees.
Requests made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a partial fee or forfeiture of deposit, depending on circumstances.
Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the appointment may be charged full fees, except for weather or safety-related reasons.
Safety is our top priority. Flight lessons and services may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to:
Adverse weather conditions that make flying unsafe or violate FAA regulations.
Mechanical issues with the aircraft or safety equipment.
Other unforeseen safety concerns.
In such cases:
We will notify you as soon as possible about cancellations or delays.
No fees will be charged for weather or safety-related cancellations.
We will work with you to reschedule at the earliest safe opportunity.
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us via phone or email.

Please provide as much notice as possible to help us accommodate other students and manage scheduling efficiently.
Refunds for cancellations or rescheduling depend on the timing and reason for the change and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Our aircraft are insured according to FAA and industry standards, covering hull damage and liability for flight operations.
Instructor and pilot liability insurance is maintained to protect against accidents or incidents during flight instruction and pilot services.
Participants are strongly encouraged to carry their own personal health, accident, and life insurance policies.
Galahad’s Flight Instruction does NOT provide personal injury, health, or life insurance coverage for students or clients.
You are responsible for any medical expenses, property damage, or other costs resulting from incidents during training or flights.
