Civil Air Patrol is America’s premier public service organization for carrying out emergency services and disaster relief missions nationwide. Its 56,000 members selflessly devote their time, energy, and expertise toward the well-being of their communities, while also promoting aviation and related fields through aerospace education and helping shape future leaders through CAP’s cadet program.
The VMC and IMC Clubs are an extension of one of the world's largest and most passionate aviation community: the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). The meetings use real-world scenarios to engage members, and allow a free exchange of information that improves awareness and skills. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency.
Volunteer members coordinate with the FAA, Scottsdale and Las Vegas FSDO, and local pilots, air traffic controllers and airport personnel.
